What is the fee structure of Nepalgunj Medical College in 2022-23?

The Nepalgunj Medical College offers affordable courses with low tuition amounts. Individual courses cost about Rs. 50,000 and the total tuition amount for 5 years of study is about Rs. 550,000 on a yearly basis.

 The cost per semester can be as low as a few hundred rupees and even that rate is not too much to put a financial burden on students from any socioeconomic background.

Admission Process of Nepalgunj Medical College in 2022-23

Every candidate admitted in the course by Kathmandu University or any of the affiliated medical colleges shall register with University by remitting the prescribed fee and submitting the application form for registration, duly filled out and forwarded to the university.

The MBBS is a 41/2 year course plus a one-year compulsory internship. The session starts in August each year. The college follows the norms/standard and admission criteria instructed by KU for admission.

The KU conducts the test every year in July/August. Students (Nepalese and Foreign) must pass the test.

Admission will be done on a basis of merit as per instruction set forth by Kathmandu University. Original certificates and citizenship certificates are required for entrance.

The Campus is located at the peaceful, picturesque setting of East Chisapani, Banske. The world-famous Bardia Wildlife Sanctuary is within walking distance, famous for its wild elephants and Royal Bengal Tiger.

There are lush green surroundings year round and polluted air is non-existent. The campus surrounds approximately 70 hectares in a dense forest.

Our faculty and staff members all live on campus; our students have separate dorms and mess facilities. Security personnel are always on duty to ensure high levels of security around campus.
