The admission procedure for Nepalgunj Medical College is as follows:

• The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects from a recognized Board/University.
• The minimum age for admission is 17 years.
• The candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
• The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination conducted by the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University.
• The entrance examination will consist of a written test and an interview.

  The candidates who are selected in the entrance examination will be called for the counselling process.
• The counselling will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance examination.
• The candidates will be allotted seats in the college on the basis of their merit.
• The candidates will have to submit the required documents at the time of counseling.
