The eligibility criteria for admission to the IOM Nepal are quite strict. All applicants must have a High School Leaving Certificate (SLC) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized school or college.
In addition, the applicant must have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the SLC examinations.
- The applicants must also have passed the Science stream in the SLC examinations with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in each subject. For admission to the MBBS/BDS program, the applicant must have obtained at least 50% in the SLC examinations and a minimum of 60% in the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSC) examinations.
- In addition, the applicant must have appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and have obtained at least 50% marks in the same. Applicants who have passed the NET with 55% or more are eligible for direct admission to the MBBS/BDS program.
- Applicants must also meet the age limit criteria. The minimum age limit for admission to the MBBS/BDS program is 17 years and the maximum is 25 years. The age limit for admission to the postgraduate programs is between 18 and 40 years.
- Apart from the above, applicants must also meet all the other requirements set by the institute such as having a valid medical insurance and having a valid visa or passport. All applicants must also submit all the necessary documents along with the application form.
